Photographer. Raised in New England. Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Oregon, with collateral studies of architecture and naval design. Professional sailing instructor and skipper, head of the U. of O. sailing school and captain of the sailing team. Began professional photography in 1985 after four years of residency in Italy, under contract to Bassilichi Informatica (Florence) and the Italian Art and Culture Ministry for 3,500 works of fine art. Maintaining parallel activity in editorial fine arts images and photojournalism, he specializes in digital image elaboration and marine photography: yacht racing, shipyards, sailmakers.
